Why Start With Traffic Exchanges?

If you are one of those who joined Marketing Pond and the like who focuses on working on PTC/PTR sites, and if you read my starter guide, you would see a bit of difference in my approach. Because I chose to recommend starting with two traffic exchange programs I know that pays and where you could earn enough money to spend quick. If you know any other traffic exchange programs in the same nature, let me know and I’ll consider adding it to my guide.

Okay, so to continue, like I said, I’ve chosen to recommend traffic exchange programs over PTC/PTR sites. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against PTC/PTR sites. In fact, they are actually included in my guide and you could follow that path by all means if you think you can do better with it. But I put EasyHits4U and TopSurfer first in my order of preference.

So why is that?

Because I am a bit impatient and I want to be in control. I don’t mind working hard as long as I am in control. And if you are like me, you would understand why. Let me explain.

With PTC/PTR sites, it is not easy to determine when I am going to get hold of the certain amount I need to invest on some serious business venture. The number of ads varies daily, and there’s not much available ads to click that pays $0.01 or $0.02 (very uncommon), but there are lots of those that pays $0.001 or $0.002 (that’s only 1/10th and 1/5th of a $0.01 respectively). If you’re going to look at it, it’s really a very small amount.

The pay-out amounts in PTC/PTR sites are usually $10, meaning you cannot withdraw the money to your Paypal, Alertpay or E-gold accounts until you reach $10. And if you’re clicking $0.001 sites, that requires 5000 ads to click before you make that $10. And you don’t get 5000 clicks a month. The only time that you’re going to make good enough amount of money with PTC sites is when you already have a lot of referrals.

And how do you think you are going to get referrals? Advertising, right! And if you don’t have money, what kind of advertising you would go to promote your PTC sites? Yep, It’s traffic exchange, it’s free! So you would spend additional hours in traffic exchange surfing to promote your PTC sites.

Do you think you could get enough referrals in one month to help you earn the money you need? And are you sure your referrals are going to act and work the same thing you do. It’s not enough that you have referrals, your income only grows when they click on ads.

That is my point. It just takes an uncertain length of time to build your PTC business. Do you have the patience? Another point is you are not in control. You don’t know when people are going to join you. You don’t know when and if they are going to click on ads. You are not in control. It is full of uncertainties.

What makes EasyHits4U and TopSurfer different? With this approach, you don’t have to depend on other people’s actions. You don’t have to wait until you get referrals to make enough money. Everything depends on the effort you put in it. Surf at least 500 pages a day for both. And you can make money. And as you earn cash, you earn credits as well. It’s like 2 in 1. And the credits you earned, you can use to advertise and get referrals or buyers to your affiliate programs. On the other hand, with PTC sites, you have to spend time clicking on PTC sites, and spend time on traffic exchanges to advertise as well, and so the difficulty is doubled.

Then when you get referrals and buyers, that’s very nice…but it is a great feeling that you don’t have to depend on them to achieve your goals, while you’re starting out. Because it is always difficult when you’re starting out. And you could easily get overwhelmed and discouraged.

As time passes by though, you will learn and will develop your own strategies. And things will become easier. But does starting out really have to be frustrating? Read my guide here and judge for yourself whether I make sense or not. But of course, I’m the master of my own opinion. What’s yours?

$8 An Hour VS $16 A Month

Are you from North America or other similar progressive countries? Then you could easily earn $8 an hour working for a real job. The $16 a month that I described in my starter guide wouldn’t be so appealing to you, am I right? Or maybe it will. And it will be for a lot of other people in the world. I know, because it appealed to me then and awakened my interest, especially being a citizen of a third world country. An extra $16 a month is not bad for people in a country with a high unemployment rate and where some citizens only make $85 a month working full-time.

But how would it appeal to North Americans? We have to admit, the crisis is worldwide. I have been told that some North Americans don’t even have $10 in their pockets. And even if it’s true that they can make $8 (or more) for an hour of work, many of them are still not willing to shell out any amount of their hard-earned money out of their pockets. It could also be a trust issue, many are having difficulty trusting or taking risks with the internet, afraid to be scammed. But there is a business in the internet, and with every business comes certain risks. If you can’t risk your money, then try and risk a bit of your “extra” time, hours that you would not be able to spend in any profitable activity offline anyway. You earn money online, you spend the money earned online, no out-of-pocket costs.

If you want to be able to get started with a serious business in about 1 1/2 months, then spend about 2 to 3 hours a day doing menial jobs like visiting websites. If you are impatient and/or don’t have that much time to spare, it will take longer than that, depending on how much time you give. But you can get started and you will be in control when you want it. Now, if you can get an offline job that will pay you $8 an hour, then go ahead and do it, and then take some risks and put your money on some legitimate business online. And there’s nothing more legitimate and stable than GDI. I highly recommend that. It’s only $10 a month. And if you are serious about changing your life for the better, you will do something. And the truth is, it’s all up to you. I’ve heard someone say, “if you think you can, or you can’t, you’re right!”. You’ll never know unless you “want” to try.
